I am an Iyengar yoga teacher. After practicing Iyengar yoga since 2001, I decided to pursue the very intensive training at Yoga Centre Toronto for two reasons.
  • I’m eager to be able to share my knowledge of the benefits and wisdom of yoga with others. I am especially interested in the ways that it helps people who have injuries or conditions that feel restrictive in their daily lives. Surrounded by sedentary people who are intelligent mentally but not always physically(!),makes me want to help people become more embodied.
  • I want to learn a very different mode of pedagogy. I have taught B.K.S. Iyengar’s writing in my classes, but now I want to learn how to teach his practice as well. I believe that the two forms of teaching can mutually inform and enrich each other.

I teach a class at Victoria College at the University of Toronto, and another one at Student Family Housing at U of T. I also teach semi-private classes in my home at Dovercourt and College. Contact me if you are interested.

This year the theme is Year 2067 and we're delighted with the applicants and with our guest faculty. Check out an interview with some of the faculty.
